Which networks bring comments in, and which do not
Comments reach Munshi from six networks. You can reply on four of them and remove comments on two. TikTok and Pinterest bring none in.
Comments come into Community from Instagram, Facebook, Threads, YouTube, Bluesky and a LinkedIn Page. You can reply from Munshi on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Threads. You can remove comments on Instagram and Threads. TikTok, Pinterest and a LinkedIn personal profile bring no comments in.
Network by network
- Instagram: comments come in. You can reply and delete from Munshi.
- Threads: comments come in, and you can reply from Munshi. The remove button reads Hide. Threads lets you hide someone else's reply, not delete it.
- Facebook: comments come in, and you can reply from Munshi.
- LinkedIn: comments on your Company Page's posts come in, and you can reply from Munshi. A personal LinkedIn profile brings no comments in. LinkedIn does not let Munshi read comments on a member's own posts.
- YouTube and Bluesky: comments come in for you to read. Reply on the network itself.
- TikTok and Pinterest: no comments come in.
Which posts does Munshi read comments from?
Munshi reads comments on your 60 most recent posts on those networks. It counts only posts it tracks, such as posts published from Munshi and past posts you imported. Networks do not send comments to Munshi as they arrive, so Munshi goes and reads them. Opening Community reads them again when the last read is more than 15 minutes old.
Comments on older posts, or on posts Munshi does not track, do not come in.
What Community shows on each network
Select a comment from YouTube or Bluesky and the reply box is replaced by a note. It starts “Replying isn't supported on YouTube yet”, with that network's name. You can still mark the comment resolved.
With no social network connected, Community says “Connect a social account in Integrations to start seeing comments here.”
If something goes wrong
“That's a lot of replies. Try again in a few minutes.”
Wait a few minutes, then send the reply again. Munshi sends up to 20 replies an hour from one workspace.
“This comment has aged out of the last sync”
Refresh Community and try again. The comment is no longer in Munshi's latest read. It may have been deleted on the network, or its post is no longer among your 60 most recent.
A LinkedIn account shows no comments
Connect LinkedIn as your Company Page to bring comments in. LinkedIn lets Munshi read comments on a Company Page's posts, not on posts made as a personal profile.
