“You have sent” too many posts to this account
Munshi sends at most 25 posts an hour to one account, plus a daily ceiling per network. Wait until the time in the message, then retry the post.
The account reached Munshi's limit on how fast one account can post. That is 25 posts an hour, plus a daily ceiling for each network. The post that hit the limit is not sent. Retry it after the time the message gives, in UTC. The limit exists because networks treat a burst of posts as spam.
What the message says
The message names the network and the limit reached. It says “in the last hour” for the hourly limit and “today” for the daily ceiling. It ends with the time you can try again, in UTC. For example: “You have sent 25 posts to this Instagram account in the last hour, the most Munshi allows to keep the account safe.”
The post is not sent. It waits under Drafts in Social, marked Failed, with the message on its card.
The limits
- 25 posts an hour to any one account. The hour is a clock hour in UTC. The count starts again when the next hour begins.
- A daily ceiling: 100 on Instagram and Facebook, 25 on Pinterest, and 50 on LinkedIn, Threads, TikTok, YouTube and Bluesky. The day ends at midnight UTC.
- Posts to one account count together wherever they are sent from. That includes the composer, a draft's Publish now, and Publish everything.
- A post counts when Munshi hands it to the network. Depending on how the account is connected, that is when you schedule the post or when its time comes. This means scheduling a long run of posts to one account in one sitting can also reach the hourly limit.
- A post that fails does not count.
How to fix it
- Wait until the time in the message. For the daily ceiling, that is after midnight UTC.
- Open Social, find the post under Drafts and click Retry now.
- Spread posts to one account across the day rather than sending them in a burst.
This is separate from your plan's monthly allowance of posts. That limit has its own message.
