What Munshi emails you, and what it never does
Munshi sends three kinds of email: a welcome, your sign-in codes, and a reply to a bug you reported. Failures and warnings stay in the app.
Munshi sends three emails. You get a welcome when your account is created, and a code each time you ask to sign in with email. You also get a reply when someone at Munshi answers a bug you reported. It sends nothing else, so a failed post or a signed-out network shows in the app, not in your inbox.
The emails Munshi sends
- Welcome to Munshi: sent once, when your first sign-in creates your account, by email code or with Google.
- Your sign-in code: sent each time you ask for one. The subject line starts with the 6-digit code. The code expires in 10 minutes.
- A reply to your bug report: sent only when a person at Munshi writes back about a report you sent. Reply to that email, and your answer reaches the support inbox.
They go to the address you sign in with. Munshi has no passwords, so it never sends a password reset email.
What stays in the app
Munshi sends no email when a post fails, a job stops or a network signs you out. The jobs dock shows research, drafting and every scheduled publish while they run. Anything that fails stays there with the reason. A network that needs reconnecting also shows on Home and in Integrations.
Settings, Notifications lists a Monthly digest with its switch off. It is not sent.
Billing email comes from Paddle
Payments run through Paddle. Paddle handles the checkout, the card, sales tax and the invoice, so receipts and invoices come from Paddle, not Munshi. To download an invoice or change your card, open Plan & billing and press Manage billing.
If something goes wrong
The sign-in code has not arrived
Check spam, then use Resend code once its countdown ends. If email is not getting through, use Continue with Google. It signs you in to the same account if your Google address is the one you use for Munshi.
An email asks me to reset my Munshi password
Do not click its link, because that email is not from Munshi. Munshi does not use passwords and does not send reset links.
