Build in public

Receipts, including the losses

We are a small bootstrapped team building an AI marketer while using it as our own marketer. This page is the honest running log.

The bet

Every small business we know has the same gap: marketing matters, nobody owns it, and the tools all assume someone will. The bet behind Munshi is that the missing piece is the operator, not another tool: planning, writing, publishing, and reading results as one loop a human supervises in a single weekly sitting.

The rule that keeps us honest

Munshi runs Munshi's marketing. The articles on this site come out of the same engine customers pay for, human-approved like everything else. When the output embarrasses us, we feel it before any customer does. That feedback loop has shaped the product more than any roadmap document.

Where we are

  • Live: the full weekly cycle (strategy, articles, per-network posts, locked publishing, all-channel analytics), with founding pricing open to the first 100 members.
  • Honestly unfinished: the library on this site is still thin, some network integrations are deeper than others, and parts of the reporting we want are not built yet. The changelog shows the pace we close gaps at.
  • Deliberately not doing: autopilot publishing without human approval, lifetime deals, and dark-pattern billing. Some growth is not worth its cost.

Follow along

The changelog lists what ships. The blog is the engine's public output. And the contact page reaches the people actually writing the code.
