A post stuck on Confirming
Confirming means the network got the post but has not confirmed the result yet. Wait: Munshi keeps checking and updates it. Do not post it again.
Confirming… means Munshi sent the post and is waiting for the network to confirm the result. Wait, and Munshi updates the post on its own once it knows. Do not post it again. The network may already have it, and a second send can publish it twice.
What Confirming means
A post shows Confirming… on Social, in Drafts, while it is being sent or while the network has not answered. Its row explains why in one line. For example: “The network received the request, but its result is still being confirmed. Munshi will update this post on its own; do not post it again.” or “Sent to Instagram. Waiting for it to confirm the post. Do not post it again.”
What Munshi does next
Munshi keeps asking the network where the post stands. When it finds the post, the post moves to Scheduled or Published. If the network says it has no such post, the post is marked Failed, with a reason you can act on. If the network does not answer at all, the post stays on Confirming. Munshi asks again on its next pass.
What you can do meanwhile
Check again asks Munshi where the post stands now and updates the row. It never sends the post a second time. While a post is confirming, its row has no other buttons, and you cannot tick it for a bulk action.
If you try to delete or change it while it is still being sent, Munshi shows “This post is being sent. Try again in a few minutes.”
If something goes wrong
“The network did not answer while Munshi was confirming this post.”
Try the change again in a few minutes. The network could not be reached when Munshi checked, so the post was left exactly as it was.
Should I post it again to be safe?
No. The network may already hold the post, and sending it again can publish it twice. Wait for the row to settle, or press Check again.
