New Publishing

Published means the network has it

A post is now marked Published only once the network confirms it is up, not the moment it is handed over. Until then it reads Confirming and keeps checking by itself. If the network refuses the post, or stays silent past its usual processing time, the post is marked failed with the reason and its allowance is returned. An article sent to a site that builds its own pages reads Confirming it is live until its address answers.

New Integrations

Test a connection without posting anything

Every connected social network now has a Test connection button. It asks the network whether Munshi's saved login still works and names the account a post would go out as, without posting anything. If the network has refused the login, Reconnect appears right there. For Sanity, the check also confirms the token can write, so a read-only token is caught before your first publish rather than by it.

Improved Blog

Every article shows one honest status

An article now reads the same on every screen: published to your site when the site confirmed it, published by you when you marked it yourself, and ready to publish when it is written but not yet sent. When Publish is unavailable, the Published tab says why. Marking an article as posted yourself now asks for its live address, so a date alone can no longer make an article look published.

New ComposerPublishing

Each network can go out at its own time

A new post can now carry a different time for each network, set from that network's tab in the composer. Every network starts on the shared time, so nothing changes unless you choose it.

Improved InterfacePlanning

The page you are on stays put

Switching workspace, saving a post you edited from the Calendar, or saving to drafts now keeps you where you were, with the page updated in place rather than reloaded. A post you schedule appears on the Calendar straight away, and existing focus areas stay visible while new ones are generated. Reminders on Home with no draft behind them, such as a reconnect prompt, can now be set aside for 14 days.

New Website

Short films on the guides

Thirty-three of the step-by-step guides in the docs now open with a short film of the task, so you can watch it done once before following along.

Fixed BlogPlanning

Article maps have room for broad topics

Mapping the articles for a focus area now has room to finish on broad topics. If a map ever comes back empty, your existing articles are left exactly as they were and you are asked to try again, rather than being told it worked.

Improved Account

Sign out from any step of setup

Every step of setting up a workspace now shows the account you are signed in as, with a Sign out link, so arriving in setup under the wrong account no longer means finishing the form first.

Improved Interface

The app opens faster

The first load of the app is now about a quarter of its previous size, and each screen loads the moment you open it. Munshi is ready sooner, most noticeably on a slower connection.

New IntegrationsAnalyticsPublishing

YouTube connects directly, with watch time and retention

YouTube now connects straight to Munshi, and Results shows each channel's watch time, audience retention, traffic sources, devices and audience make-up. Deleting a published YouTube post in Munshi now removes the video from YouTube as well, and each post shows the title you gave it. A channel connected before 22 September needs reconnecting once to show the new figures.

New Analytics

Deeper analytics for Facebook, Instagram and Threads

Results now has a section for each of Facebook, Instagram and Threads with the account's profile details, its engagement and its ten best posts, built from figures Munshi already collects. Video posts show their cover image, and a Facebook video is counted once rather than twice.

Improved Planning

More focus areas every time you ask

Generating focus areas again now adds up to four new ones that fill gaps in your plan, and keeps every one you already have. Titles no longer repeat the competitor names from your brief: a comparison reads as your company against the alternatives. New focus areas appear the moment they are ready, without a refresh.

Improved Analytics

Engagement counts every post, whenever it went out

Results and Home now show what all your posts earned in the period you are looking at, including posts published before it, rather than only posts published inside it. A custom range now takes an end date as well as a start, and the Results layout stays the same at every range.

Improved Composer

The composer remembers your settings and sends in the background

Each new post now starts from the settings your workspace used last, shared with your teammates. Scheduling or posting closes the composer as soon as Munshi accepts the post, with progress in the jobs tray. Dates are picked from Munshi's own calendar, and a draft can be deleted straight from the drafts list or from Home. A Pinterest video pin no longer needs a cover and uses its first frame instead.

Fixed Publishing

A post never goes to the same network twice

Munshi now declines to send a post to a network where the same post is already live or on its way, says so in plain words, and spends none of your allowance. Failed posts can be dismissed from Home, and a failed copy of a post that later went live is hidden rather than offered for another try.

Improved Analytics

Every post says why it has no numbers

A post the network reports as zero now shows zero rather than reading as unreachable, and a brief network hiccup is tried again rather than recorded as a failure. Where a post has no figures, Cross-post says why, for example a TikTok upload still waiting in the creator's inbox, or a LinkedIn Page that does not report followers.

Improved PublishingIntegrations

Facebook, Instagram and Threads publish directly

Munshi now sends posts to Facebook, Instagram and Threads through its own Meta connection, as it already does for YouTube. A workspace connected before this change needs to reconnect these networks once, from Settings, Integrations.

New Account

Sign up without an invite

Anyone can now start a free trial with an email address or a Google account, with no invite and no card. The trial runs for 14 days and includes 3 articles and 50 posts.

Improved Website

Every page and guide is easier to read

Each page and help guide now answers its question in the first line, in short sentences and everyday words. Terms like CMS and click-through rate are explained where they first appear, and every FAQ answer starts with the answer.

New ComposerMedia

See each image as every network will show it

Each network's tab in the composer now shows your images in that network's shape, flagged where they will be cropped or refused, with Adjust to crop and position them or to fit the whole image. It opens by itself when a network would refuse an image. A story takes a single photo or video, and the composer offers to use the first photo or to post them all as a carousel.

Improved Composer

The composer asks only for what a post can use

Each network's settings now appear only when your post is the kind they apply to, such as a cover image once a video is attached. You choose each network's format first, and the settings that depend on it follow.

New Website

Step-by-step guides for everything Munshi does

The docs now hold 83 illustrated guides and 30 short answers, organised in a sidebar you can filter by title, with Previous and Next on every page. The feature, use-case, integration and comparison pages were rewritten in depth at the same time, with real screenshots of the app and a plain account of what each part does not do.

Improved BlogIntegrations

Webflow articles fill your collection the way you built it

Munshi now reads your Webflow collection before publishing and fills the fields you actually have: the title, an intro or summary field, and every image field, even ones renamed since they were created. Text is trimmed at a word boundary to fit each field's own character limit, and lists, tables and code arrive as readable paragraphs rather than disappearing. When an article lands as a draft, Munshi names the fields still waiting for you, and when Webflow refuses one, you see which field it objected to and why.

Improved Planning

Hover any post on the calendar for the full picture

Hovering or tabbing onto a calendar entry now opens a card with its status, time, each network's own state, the full caption and any failure reason. Adding an entry uses the app's own channel and time pickers, with network logos and hour, minute and AM or PM columns.

New Interface

A 12-hour or 24-hour clock, your choice

Times across the app read as 2:48 PM by default. Settings, under Timezone and clock, now has a switch for the 24-hour clock, remembered on the device you set it on.

Improved PlanningAnalytics

Posts removed from a network are marked as no longer live

When a post is deleted on Instagram or YouTube, the calendar now shows it greyed out as "No longer live" in place of a link that leads nowhere. Posts published straight away also keep the date they actually went out, however often Munshi refreshes them afterwards.

Improved Publishing

YouTube uploads stop before YouTube refuses them

Munshi now holds each YouTube channel to 15 uploads a day, which is where YouTube itself starts turning newer channels away. If a channel reaches YouTube's own limit first, the message says so plainly and suggests trying again the next day, in place of the raw error YouTube returns.

New Planning

A post sent to several networks is one calendar entry

A post that goes to Facebook and Instagram together now appears once on the calendar, with each network's logo and a single status. Open it to see every network on its own row, with its status, its error if it had one, and a link to the live post.

Fixed PublishingComposer

YouTube uploads use the privacy you choose

The privacy setting and the made-for-kids answer you pick in the composer now reach YouTube with every upload. Previously only the title arrived, so YouTube applied its own default of public. The thumbnail field has been removed from YouTube posts until Munshi can deliver it.

Fixed Blog

Articles publish under the title you gave them

Every website connection now uses the title from an article's SEO panel, which is the one you edit. Before this, the shorter working label from the content plan could be used in its place.

New BlogIntegrations

Shopify stores as a blog destination

Any Shopify store can now be connected from Integrations and used as the place your articles publish, alongside WordPress, Ghost, Webflow, Framer and Sanity. The blog you pick is ready straight away, without reloading the page.

New Blog

See an article as your website will show it

Articles now have a preview that renders the text exactly as it will be sent to your website, so headings, lists and links can be checked before anything is published.

Improved Integrations

Your TikTok account, at a glance

A connected TikTok account now shows its picture, name, followers, following, likes and video count on the Integrations page, so you can confirm at a glance which account Munshi is posting as.

Fixed Blog

Headings arrive in WordPress as valid blocks

Articles published to WordPress now open in the block editor without a warning on their headings. WordPress had been flagging headings that Munshi adjusted to fit your theme as invalid content.

Improved Website

Articles open with their key takeaways

Every post on the Munshi blog now starts with its key takeaways under the introduction, and long pages carry an "On this page" list that follows you as you read. The blog index gained a search box and category filters, and the address keeps what you searched so a filtered view can be shared.

Improved Website

The About page introduces the founder

The About page on munshi.social now names the person behind Munshi, with a short background and links to their public profiles.

Improved Blog

SEO fields arrive already filled

The title tag, meta description and address Munshi writes for an article now carry straight into the Published tab's SEO card, so the score is ready without retyping them. Anything you have already entered yourself is left as you wrote it.

Improved IntegrationsAnalytics

Pinterest stays in step with your account

Pins and boards deleted on Pinterest now leave Munshi at the next refresh, and video pins show their cover image in Results. A video pin also asks for its cover image when you save or schedule it, not at the moment it publishes, and a board that no longer exists is flagged in the composer.

New IntegrationsPublishingAnalytics

Pinterest, connected directly, with your boards in Munshi

Every workspace now connects Pinterest through its own authorization window, with no shared connection in between. Pins can go to a board section, and the Integrations page shows your profile, every board with its pins, the option to save a pin to another board or delete a board, and your best pins of the last 30 days. Pinterest results now include reactions and comments. Workspaces that connected Pinterest before 10 September should connect it once more.

Improved Publishing

A send the network has not confirmed shows as confirming

When a network accepts a post but its answer never arrives, the post now reads "Confirming" with a Check again button, not failed and ready to send twice. Before any retry, Munshi asks the network whether the post already landed, so the same post never goes out twice.

Improved Analytics

Results explain every number, and every gap

A post that has just gone out now says its numbers arrive after the network's first read, and a network that gave no numbers shows its own reason. On Results, hovering a bar breaks the figure down by network and by likes, comments, shares, saves and clicks.

Fixed Integrations

Instagram asks for a Facebook Page only when it needs one

The Instagram connect notice now mentions a Facebook Page only when you are signing in through Facebook. Signing in with Instagram itself never needed one.

New Website

A public roadmap, and a page for every integration

The Munshi website now has a roadmap showing what is being built and what is not planned, a page for each network and website platform Munshi publishes to, honest alternatives pages, and a comparison with doing it yourself in ChatGPT. Pricing gained a side-by-side table of every plan.

Improved WebsiteInterface

Find Munshi on every network it publishes to

The site footer and the Overview pane in Settings now link Munshi's own profiles on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, YouTube, TikTok and Pinterest. The consent banner on munshi.social also now closes as soon as you make a choice.

Improved Publishing

A post that misses its moment asks for a new time

A scheduled post that could not be sent within two hours of its time is now held back and marked for a new time, rather than going out hours late into a moment that has passed. A post whose network was disconnected before its time now says so on the card, instead of staying scheduled with nothing left to send it.

Improved Integrations

Instagram says what it needs before you connect

Instagram only publishes from a Business or Creator account. The connect step now says so up front, shows where to switch a personal account over, and reminds you to sign in as the account you mean. Previously a personal account failed quietly on Instagram's own screen and Munshi never heard back. The connect dialogs also scroll on a short screen, so their buttons are always within reach.

Fixed MediaPublishing

Video uploads complete again

Videos of any length upload and post as before. For three days a check on the upload step refused anything larger than a few kilobytes, which stopped video from reaching any network.

Improved ComposerPublishing

The TikTok settings come from your own account

The composer now shows which TikTok account you are posting as, offers only the visibility choices that account is allowed, and greys out comments, duets or stitches where the account has them switched off. Branded content carries the disclosure TikTok requires, and a video longer than your account's limit is flagged before it uploads.

Fixed Publishing

Scheduled posts on TikTok and Pinterest wait for their time

Scheduling a post to a TikTok or Pinterest account connected directly through Munshi now holds it until the chosen time. These networks have no scheduler of their own, and previously a post scheduled to one of them went out the moment it was scheduled.

Improved Website

Ask AI about us, from every footer

The footer now closes every page with one invitation to try Munshi, a row of prompts you can hand to ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini or Copilot to ask about Munshi in your own words, and the full link columns, which previously appeared on the home page only.

Improved Website

munshi.social waits for your consent

The site's analytics no longer load until you have made a choice on the cookie banner, every page is served with a strict set of security headers, and every sign-up button says plainly that Munshi is invite-only for now. The privacy policy names every service that handles your data.

New Composer

One caption per network, written together

Optimize per platform now writes a separate caption for every network in the post in one pass, each to that network's own length and tone. A caption no longer has to fit the tightest network in the mix and read short everywhere else. Changing the brief rewrites every caption, and adding a network writes only the new one.

Fixed PublishingComposer

TikTok posts go out with the visibility you chose

A post sent to TikTok now carries the visibility and the title you set in the composer, and the composer says the video will appear once TikTok finishes processing it rather than claiming it is already up. Previously the visibility chosen in the composer was not carried through, so posts landed as visible only to you.

Fixed Publishing

Unscheduling a post checks with the network first

Pulling a scheduled post back now asks the network that holds it to confirm before the post leaves your calendar and the allowance is returned. If the network cannot confirm, the post stays scheduled and the reason is shown. A network that does not allow removal through its API says so and points you to its own app.

Improved InterfacePublishing

A job that fails says so, and why

The jobs tray now marks a failed job in red with the reason, instead of showing it as finished. A job that hit a passing network fault retries by itself, with the time of the next attempt shown, and stops after three tries rather than repeating forever. Long jobs no longer time out partway through, and one interrupted by an update to Munshi is picked up again straight after, rather than a quarter of an hour later.

Improved Interface

The reason a network gave, not a status code

When a network turns a request down, the message you see is now the network's own reason. Previously those messages were lost on the way through and replaced with a generic failure code.

New Account

Export everything, or delete the workspace for good

Settings, Account gains the two controls the privacy policy promised. Export downloads everything the workspace holds as one file. Delete, for the owner only and confirmed by typing the workspace name, cancels scheduled posts where the network allows, ends the subscription, revokes every connection and removes the data. Posts already published stay live on the networks, because Munshi cannot take those down.

Improved AccountIntegrations

Connections and the workspace name belong to the owner

Renaming the workspace, disconnecting a network or a website, and removing a stored credential are now the owner's alone. Members keep everything else, including drafting, scheduling and reading Results, and see a note saying who to ask.

Improved Account

Kept only as long as the policy says

Signed-out sessions, expired sign-in codes and finished job history are now cleared on a schedule, per-post and per-account analytics samples are kept for one year, and our own logs and error reports identify a request by workspace rather than by your email address.

Improved AccountIntegrations

Every address Munshi fetches is checked first

A website, a CMS, an image or a video you point Munshi at is checked before Munshi reaches it, on every redirect, and capped in size, and article HTML is stripped of anything that could run in a reader's browser. An error from your CMS is summarised rather than echoed back raw.

Improved Analytics

Reports build while you carry on

Building a PDF or Excel report now happens in the background, with a download link once it is ready, so a long period no longer ties up the page. The Excel export holds up to 5,000 posts in a period. A network that fails to answer keeps its last good reading, marked as such, rather than blanking its row.

Improved AnalyticsBlog

Article rows carry click-through rate and position

The Blog tab of Results now shows each article's click-through rate and its average search position from Search Console, so the striking-distance list is built on real positions. Refresh waits two minutes between runs and says when it last ran.

New PlanningBlog

Check demand tells you which keywords people actually type

The Check demand button on your keywords now asks Google's own search suggestions whether each phrase is one people complete, and lists the related searches it finds. It costs nothing from your allowance.

Improved Analytics

Results says when its trends arrive

A newly connected workspace has nothing to compare against yet, and Results now names the day its trend charts fill in, weekday included, rather than warning twice that history is missing. Until then each panel leads with what it already holds, and where a shorter period would fill in sooner it offers it.

Improved Analytics

Results, finished to the final design

The Social tab pools total audience, net growth and interactions at the foot of the health card, adds a saves column to top posts, and closes with a note when little was published. The Blog tab pairs its ring with key events, ranking pages and articles live, leads its Google Analytics rail with the key event rate, and lays the path from search visibility to outcomes out as four cards.

Improved Interface

One screen failing leaves the rest standing

An error on one screen now shows an inline card with Retry and Report, while the navigation, the composer and the jobs tray stay up. A second crash in the same session offers Home instead of reloading in a loop.

Fixed ComposerNotes

Nothing you typed is lost to a sign-in

A post half-written when the session expires is kept and reopened once you sign back in. A note that could not save says so with a retry and keeps the edit until it lands, and closing the tab mid-edit saves what it can on the way out.

Improved BlogIntegrations

Publish to whichever website you connected

Publishing an article now works with any connected website, whether WordPress, Ghost, Webflow, Framer or Sanity, where it previously waited on Sanity alone. An article handed to WordPress or Ghost reports that it landed there as a draft until that site publishes it, a scheduled article can be cancelled from its row, and a website connection that stops working is marked in Integrations with the reason.

Fixed Blog

Scheduled articles keep the workspace's clock

An article scheduled for nine in the morning goes out at nine in the workspace's own time zone. Previously the time was read in the browser's zone, so an article could land hours off for anyone working from elsewhere.

Fixed BlogPlanning

Articles the engine has written stay written

Saving your plan while an article is still being generated no longer discards the article. Each side keeps what it owns, so a finished piece is never overwritten by an older copy of the plan.

Improved Planning

Generation runs in the background

Company profile, focus areas, keywords and the content map are now built as background jobs listed in the jobs tray, so a long generation no longer stalls the page or times out. After thirty seconds the page says it is still working, and the result appears where it always did.

Improved Billing

A plan limit names itself

When Munshi has to say no, it now says which limit was reached: the plan's allowance with a link to plans, an expired trial with a way to choose one, or the daily spending cap, which resets on its own at midnight UTC. A batch of posts that does not fit the allowance is refused whole, before anything is sent. On an annual plan the monthly allowance now resets on your billing anniversary each month.

New Website

Data deletion has its own page

The new page at munshi.social/data-deletion explains how to remove your data from Munshi and from each connected network, including the disclosure Meta requires, and the privacy policy links to it.

Improved Analytics

YouTube counted in subscribers

Each row of the channels table now names its own audience word beside the number, so a YouTube channel reads in subscribers and every other network in followers, rather than the word living in a hover.

Fixed Interface

The way out of setup is on the page

The skip on first-run setup now sits inside the card beneath each step's own buttons, so it is visible on every screen size and in a screen share. It previously sat in the corner of the window, where a meeting toolbar could hide it entirely.

Improved Account

Your own brand in the workspace switcher

The chip at the bottom of the sidebar now carries your logo and your company name, so several brands are told apart by their branding rather than by similar generated names. Your own name and email sit inside the menu, alongside the workspace you are switching between.

Fixed AccountBilling

Adding a workspace asks the right question first

Add workspace now checks what your plan covers: on a one-brand plan it offers the upgrade, and on a plan with room it sets the new brand up as before. A workspace added by mistake can be discarded from its own setup screen, and signing in returns you to a workspace that is already set up. Previously an extra workspace opened on an empty setup screen with no way back.

Improved Analytics

Results fills itself in the moment an account is connected

Connecting a network now starts reading its figures immediately rather than waiting for the next scheduled sweep, and every kind of connection does so. Google Analytics and Search Console are read in the background as well, so Results no longer waits on them to open.

Fixed Analytics

An unmeasured period reads as unmeasured

Results now distinguishes between figures still importing, posts it is not yet tracking, and a period that genuinely saw no activity. All three previously showed as zero, which read as work that had reached nobody.

Improved PlanningInterface

A shorter, clearer first run

Setting Munshi up now reads as a single pass. The brand details read from your site are labelled, each choice states what it does for you, your plan is presented once as a map of its focus areas, and the closing screen fits a laptop without scrolling.

Improved BlogPlanning

A plan sized to the quarter you are planning

The strategy you approve at the start is now sized to a full quarter of publishing rather than to a single cycle's allowance, so it reads as a plan you can judge. What you can draft this cycle is stated separately, as your allowance. Content pillars are named focus areas throughout the app.

Improved Interface

Home reads straight down the page

The Engine sits above the queue as a strip of four, with everything waiting on you running full width beneath it. Side by side, the two could not stay level, because the queue grows and shrinks through the week while the Engine is always four tiles.

Fixed IntegrationsInterface

A connection that cannot start says so in plain words

When a network cannot be reached, the connect window now gives the reason as a readable page with a way back into Munshi, rather than the raw response meant for the app.

Fixed Notes

Delete a note without opening it

Each card in Notes now carries its own delete, so removing one no longer means opening it first.

New BlogPlanning

Take your strategy out, and bring an answer back

Blog strategy now exports three ways: copy it for whichever AI you already work with and paste the reply straight back in, save a branded PDF to share with a client, or keep the file itself. Importing also works as a way to start a strategy from scratch.
